Shepherd's Pie

  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1 jar (12 oz.) Heinz® HomeStyle Beef Gravy
  • 1 package (10 oz.) frozen mixed vegetables, thawed
  • 3 cup prepared Ore Ida mashed potatoes
  • 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese


  • Cook ground beef, in large skillet, until browned; drain fat. Stir in gravy and mixed vegetables.
  • Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer 8 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
  • Prepare mashed potatoes as per package directions
  • Spoon mashed potatoes onto meat mixture, forming 8 mounds. Sprinkle potatoes with cheese.
  • Cook until potatoes are hot and cheese melts. Serve from skillet. Makes 4 servings.
