Preheat oven to 400°F. Coat an 8x8 baking pan with nonstick cooking spray. In a large bowl, mix together muffin mix, egg and milk until mixed but slightly lumpy. Stir in sliced wieners and green chilies. Pour evenly into baking pan.
Bake uncovered for 20 to 25 minutes, or until or until internal temperature reaches 165 degrees.
Meanwhile, in a small saucepan over medium heat, cook gravy for 3 to 5 minutes, or until heated through, stirring occasionally. Cut cornbread into 6 portions and serve with warm gravy.
For a milder flavor, substitute chopped green chilies with creamed corn or whole corn kernels.
