Blue Cheese Stuffed "Steak" with Onion Gravy

Ingredients

  • 1 package (16 oz.) Butterball® Fresh All Natural Turkey Burger Patties
  • 4 ounce blue cheese crumbles
  • 3 tablespoon butter
  • 3 cup thinly sliced onions
  • 1 jar (12 oz.) Heinz® HomeStyle Beef Gravy

Directions

  • Place each turkey burger between 2 pieces of wax paper. Press to 3/8-inch thickness. Place 1 oz. of the Blue cheese crumbles 1/2-inch from the edge on half of the patty. Fold patty over cheese. Seal edges together. Refridgerate at least 1 hour.
  • For onion gravy, melt butter in medium skillet on medium-high heat. Add onions. Cook 13 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden brown. Stir in gravy. Heat to simmer.
  • Meanwhile, spray a large skillet with cooking spray. Heat on medium heat. Add cheese-stuffed turkey burgers. Cook 8-10 minutes, turning half way through cooking time until burgers reach an internal temperature of 165 degrees F.
  • Place burgers on serving platter. Top with onion gravy.

    NOTE: Prep time is approximately 70 minutes.
